Graeme Paterson Review of Pullman London St Pancras

My wife and I booked a Junior Suite for two nights at the St Pancras Pullman as a base from which we could treat our grandson to some of London's attractions during the school holidays.. Our room was comfortable but lacked a feature that I had specifically requested when I made the reservation on line. The was no bath in the bathroom. We had precisely the same disappointment in this hotel two years ago when we specified a room with a bath on that occasion. What is the point of your guests making such specific requests if you are going to blatantly ignore them? You could at least have acknowledged my requests and advised me of the availability of rooms with baths.
We had our evening dinners and breakfasts in the hotel during our stay. The service and food was quite satisfactory but, along with many other guests, we had to wait for 25 minutes before we could be seated for breakfast on the morning of Friday 18th August. This situation was quite unacceptable in a 4* hotel charging premium rates, and is especially irritating when one has planned a busy day's schedule with public transport departure times to meet.
Both the lack of response over bath availability and the long wait to be seated at breakfast is a management problem - your service staff were working very hard in very difficult circumstances.
We will think very hard about whether we make any further reservations at this hotel.
