Mediocre food in large quantities. The all-you-can-eat is kind of fun, but the quality of food would be better if it was $15/person rather than $25/person. We had gotten the sausage and schnitzel as well, but they were similarly "meh." Their dessert is just normal soft serve as far as we could tell. They have the dining experienced organized and down to a science, though. Nothing was bad, per se... everything was simply thoroughly mediocre. The way my siblings and I would describe it is "A 5 Star experience of a 3 Star restaurant."

I'm not really sure why it is so popular other than its previous/existing fame and proximity to the Frankenmuth gift shops. I assume the food is mediocre because there's no challenge to be better when it stays busy in spite of that. And maybe it's good to some people, but I think you can get a better deal elsewhere.
