Just horrible. My PCP, Dr. Agawal, is nice and was attentive while I saw her during my initial appointment, but I can honestly say that this entire clinic has made my life a living hell recently. First, they misspell my name in the system so my blood work results couldn't be properly submitted to specialist I was seeing because the names didn't match. Then, I was promised that I would get a referral (I have an HMO insurance plan so I always need a referral from my PCP to see a specialist) to see a psychiatrist so I could continue being prescribed the medication I've been on for THREE YEARS. It took me an entire MONTH of calling Mary's Center every business day to get them to write me the referral. They kept insisting that I didn't need a referral to see a specialist, so they clearly don't know how an HMO plan works. When I finally get the referral, it came with the caveat that I must also see someone at Mary's Center for therapy every month which I specifically stated that I did not want. Additionally I was told over the phone I could come in anytime before COB (around 8 PM) to pick up my referral, but when I got there around 5:15 PM they told me it was too late and I'd have to come back another time. Every time I call the clinic, I get transferred around endlessly, hung up on, or just ignored. A psychiatrist there even kept repeatedly interrupting me on the phone when I was explaining my problem. Anyway, now my meds are running low and I can't get my prescription because this place takes an eternity to process referrals. Stay FAR away if you have an HMO plan. I want to change my PCP to a different clinic as soon as possible but seems like nowhere else is taking new patients! I haven't missed a single day of my medication in years until this mess.
