I ve lived at the Landings for 3 years and it s still my favourite place I ve ever lived at! The rent is cheap and affordable, and the place comes furnished. The amenities are a great addition. Most places that don t include WiFi you would have to spend $80+ just for WiFi and not even including cable. I have lived in a 2x2 emerald and now a 4x4 spartan and have little complaints. One thing though is the apartments aren t always what the model looks like. For example usually in a 4x4 Bedroom A or D can have a very very VERY small bathroom (the length of the bathtub). But the room size does seem a bit bigger. The 2x2 size is great for two people, and emerald is definitely worth it if you have the money. The appliances are WAY better than the spartan. Upon moving into our 4x4 we ve had constant issues with our fridge leaking. Maintance has come out multiple times replacing things, but with no luck. The walls are very thin and sometimes there can be insulation issues that make rooms a lot colder than others. The furniture is really nice, but the beds aren t great at all. If you have bad back problems management will let you switch out a bed you own with a doctors note. Since I first moved here management has gotten so much better. At first the office seemed a little unorganised, but it s gotten better and better since then! Sometimes corporate can cause delays in receiving sign on packages (like the gift cards and Alexas we waited for for several months). The office can still have their moments of confusion and can be unorganised at times but everyone in the office is AWESOME. Katie is a sweetheart, Sydney always is super helpful and fun to talk to, and Chris always comes to the rescue with my 300x questions. And everyone else in the office does their job and is really understanding and nice to talk too. If they don t know the answer to your question they will ask whoever will know. Throughout each month they will usually have free food or activities on Thursdays which can be fun to attend. And this place IS Dog Friendly!!! They have a nice dog park too. I originally came here because it was dog friendly, and although I haven t gotten a dog yet I have stuck by just because the people, the price, and the amenities. There can be some annoyances now and then but overall I would recommend this place to anyone who can get past the distance and likes to save money!
