Having lived a block away from this museum I have to say that the neighborhood would not be the same without the Walker Art Museum. At the same time, I would argue that the museum is not the same without the Sculpture Garden and Loring park right next to it. I could not fully appreciate the art pieces, but they were not for me. It is a great place for a date never the less. The exhibits are beautiful and the rooms are well spaced, with room for quiet conversation.
