A special place, somewhere between a community center and dream bookstore. It seems to pull people from the larger towns of Princeton and Trenton, and the small nearby towns especially for the reading series. This where I heard Cory Booker, Jhumpa Lahiri and Tracy K. Smith speak. Often I just come here to browse, to see what's up in the world. Labyrinth carries all the emerging and submerged voices. It's where I learned about Claudia Rankine, Terrance Hayes, and Ocean Vong. It's also where I found (lots of great used books here too) a copy of fusty, dead guy, Karl Shapiro's, In Defense of Ignorance. A crazy rant. And the staff---as far as I can tell they are all book lovers---it's just possible that the highlight of their day is when you ask them a question. Seriously. They actually seem to love the customers. It's not a chain store---
