It is a very beautiful place but little visited by Italian tourists. In the basement, if you have children you'll have a lot to turn between shelves filled with books and comfortable sofas as well as specially designed games for the little ones. My 5-year-old daughter no longer wanted to come away.
On the seventh floor there is a great self-service with different options for vegetarians / vegans. From the restaurant terrace it is also possible to see Amsterdam in all its breadth. If you want to leave the usual tourist circuit, relax without paying an entrance fee, the central library is definitely for you.
