Enjoy the Silence 5 *

We enjoyed a great holiday here (10 days in late June / early July 2019). Due to its location, facilities and service, the hotel offers a very good opportunity to relax. The journey from Paphos airport was uncomplicated with about 35 minutes by taxi and advantageous compared to a bus transfer. We were particularly impressed by the hospitality, the friendliness and the welcoming culture. The check in with a drink and the late check out offered were absolutely professional. Many things made a very positive impression on us here. (free water per day / minibar, welcome fruit plate, night service with fresh towels, chocolate as bedtime treats, fresh flowers in the room and bathroom, daily hotel cosmetics)
We had a junior suite in the west wing, which in practice didn't look as bright and modern as in the hotel pictures. Nevertheless, we felt comfortable, we really liked the sleeping comfort, the peace and quiet and the room cleaning / room service. We also had short distances to breakfast and the sea.

The wonderful sunbathing lawn by the sea with a very attentive service at the garden bar was a place of rest and relaxation. (Mr. Panicos) In the early morning hours we were often the only visitors, could listen to the sound of the sea and the birds or read a book undisturbed. (At the reception there is a small library with German books). In the garden there are about 50 comfortable garden loungers (wood with trailers) and a towel service. It is not necessary to reserve, even around 11 a.m. there is still enough choice. Initially, only one family had reserved their loungers every day at 7.30 a.m., later other guests felt encouraged to do so. This is where the hotel should take action. The beach is stony and has a wooden path or pontoon right down to the water. Bathing shoes are recommended. Swimming in the sea is very possible. There are separate showers, changing rooms and toilets adjacent to the lawn, which are cleaned several times a day and are in top condition.
We didn't even visit the impressive pool area (indoor, outdoor, children, bar) because we felt more comfortable by the sea.
The hotel offers various restaurants. We had only booked breakfast here and regularly went to the small taverns in Pissouri Beach in the evening. The first evening we ate in the hotel (Apollo Taverne), the quality of the food was very good, but some prices should be reconsidered. (Espresso 4.50) The Italian restaurant in the hotel was only open on a few days - a shame.

We also liked the hotel in terms of its location, trips to Paphos, Limassol and the Troodos Mountains were possible without long journeys.

The smallest problems / misunderstandings in the hotel were resolved immediately to our full satisfaction, the management even organized a complementary bottle of sparkling wine.
