Old hotel but well kept, recently renovated rooms, great VIP lounge and excellent downtown location that one can walk every where in the d/t vicinity. They also always have pretty good service at the reception desk and valet. Rooms are always clean and the bed is very comfortable. The only thing missing is a good restaurant in the hotel. Whatever they currently have are pretty much average. However, there are so many good restaurants in d/t Calgary. One does not have to eat in the hotel, just walk a block or two you ll get to a decent restaurant. Try Oceana, best whole fish fresh out of the Agean sea.
