mid April, the first day it got warm, I got carpet beetles. not 1 or 2, but 100s a day !! I already called and the municipality but they said nothing to do. so okay i pay for the pest control service myself. since those beetles will eat all your clothes, curtains, carpets, etc.
until I heard the fighter say that it was impossible that a carpet beetle flew in on the first warm day and caused this plague (one can sometimes fly in and nest, but then you have no plague, then you see a few)
these carpet beetle nests were already there from last summer as carpet beetle nests / eggs can survive for 10 to 12 months until the temperature is favorable.

this makes it a delivery problem, I have been here since the end of August 2017 and during that period a lot had to be cleaned and repairs had to be done by alwel. this because the previous occupants had left the house. mold up to the ceiling etc. etc. the key handover even had to be postponed! however, in all probability, no control has been carried out. this also makes it more likely that it is a delivery problem.

Already contacted and 6 bells, 2 complaint emails, an official complaint and 4 weeks !! further, I received a short email with "pest costs are for the tenant"
Now that I ask for an explanation, I am not called back or e-mailed, just like the past 4 weeks.

pest control costs were 200 euros, dry cleaning costs and almost 2 weeks of inconvenience (vacuuming / washing twice a day and not being able to go out of the house for 2 weeks to clean up beetles, and moving everything in plastic bags to family) not included.

also the legal counter told me that these costs are not reasonable according to "decision minor repairs". but that the housing sector knows that litigation is more expensive than the amount I would get back.

for the landlord:

Fighting cockroaches, pharaoh ants, longhorn beetles and woodworms (due to force majeure)

very unfortunate and I am certainly disappointed.
apart from no allowances, you are simply ignored and you have to call / email very often and wait weeks before you receive an answer.
I still expect an answer!
