Visited Charlie Browns in Scotch Plains for the first time over the weekend. Restaurant was crowded but we were seated promptly in the bar area. We had a delightful waitress, Julie, who welcomed us with a warm smile and friendly conversation. We started our meal with a pitcher of sangria as suggested which was quite tasty. She made several recommendations from the menu on entrees we might enjoy. I went with the prime rib and my wife had the Parmesan crusted chicken. We started with a chicken quesadilla for an appetizer and also both enjoyed the salad bar which came with our entrees. The salad bar was delicious. I would go back just for the salad bar! Our entrees came out hot and tasted great. We finished our meal with the lava cake topped with ice cream. We left stuffed! Overall a pleasant atmosphere, attentive and friendly service, just a great meal and dining experience! We will definitely be back.
