normally we use Christiana hospital and when my father was sent to the kent general ER I requested he be transferred. because we live in Newark. I am so glad we stayed at Kent General. He had the most amazing care while there. The nurses were extremely attentive to his needs, and the doctors were constantly in touch with us. Each morning a nurse would call to inform us about the previous night. best part was we didn't feel like my father was on an assembly line... they didn't rush to discharge him before he was ready... very unlike previous visits to Christiana.
