If you are leaving in Sheikh Zayed area or 6th October city, then you must go and do your weekly (or daily) shopping here.This place is dedicated for food supply of all kind and different types and varieties, even if you want to buy planting stuff for your garden then you will find it here as well. The prices are reasonable most of the times (comparing to similar type of shops ..ie Carrefoor, Spinnys) only some time other similar shops are best in prices. Overall this is the place to enjoy the shopping and get different varieties you can not find in any other shop. The only negative thing is how busy it gets pretty much everyday from 5pm and all day in weekend. The best time to go there and enjoy your time is early morning all the way until 1pm..after that it is difficult to enjoy your time.
My little piece of advice here in terms of food shopping prices, its always to buy food supply from the local market and not from the shopping Centres, the prices in the market are 30% at least cheaper than the big shopping mall stores and rather fresh as well. just one example i give you here..if you buy Whiting fillette you will get at Carrefour for EGP209 a KGM, in Hyper one EGP190 and 150 at your local fish market. same apply to chicken, meat, fruits and fresh produce.
