The BBB takes money from businesses, and that seems to influence the manner in which they "resolve" complaints imo. Over the years I had tried to file with the BBB for a couple of separate issues, and they ultimately behaved as though they had no teeth to enforce anything. Depending on your situation, it is likely more worth your time to file with a government entity such as the FTC or the Attorney Generals Office, both of which have online portals which make the process easy, and both of which actually will work on your behalf to enforce statutes and seek a just resolution to your issue.
