Admission is FREE, and would urge everyone to visit USHMM at some point in their life. Prior to my visit to DC my mind was set on stopping here for their FREE ticketed (spots do fill up, so please order in advance or check in early) exhibition. The exhibition is a self-guided tour between floors 2nd-4th, and occupies 1-3 hours (there is no rush, moving at your own pace is key). Upon entering the exhibition, you are given an identification card detailing a real person s account of the Holocaust, adding an emotional attachment that will carry you through the end. There are many artifacts that coincide with each point in the story line, and everything is presented in chronological order. The exhibition was very captivating on multiple levels, leaving me to assess my civil duty in this world.

I HIGHLY recommend this to everyone, it is essential light is shed on the horrific actions of mankind in hopes that history doesn t repeat itself.
