I came to drop off an item that a guest left at my home. The hotel would not hold the item for me. They did not have the man's name in their system due to an issue with his company making the booking. Instead, I had to wait 45 minutes until the hotel guest could come and claim the item. The lack of flexibility in the hotel policy was disappointing. To the credit of the concierge that was assisting me, she did try several different ways to look up the guest and I did not know the company for which he worked.
