*** UPDATE*** Maristone of Franklin Facebook page Admins removed this exact same post so it cannot be read, since this is a Google review it cannot be taken down, their response under this post from Amanda (the executive director I did not choose to name in either or my postings) is not an accurate representation of the way she handles problems in the facility.*** I'd like to preface this post by saying I do not have family in this facility, nor have I been employed here. I have, however, had an exceptionally poor experience here. My boyfriend worked as a nurse here, and a few days ago I had dropped him off to work and was sitting in my car in the parking lot. A man walked out of the facility and came up to me in my car, where he went on a verbal rant and proceeded to reach into my car saying things that made it apparent that he was not in his right mind. After the police were called I found out that the man had previously caused issues in the facility and that he was in the building earlier that day. It was made known after following up with the police that he was arrested (after confronting me in my car) on multiple assault warrants. This dangerous man got into he building not once, but twice in the same day due to lackadaisical staff not taking action. A staff member had seen this man in the building and was made uncomfortable by him earlier in the day, and told her superiors of the incident, to which nothing was done. After the second incident involving myself, it was made very clear that the executive director was completely in the dark as to what goes on in and around her facility. She actually ended up placing the blame, of this man being dangerous and on Maristone property twice in one day, on anyone but herself. Instead of being present in what happens in her facility, taking charge, and addressing the situation accordingly, she acted in a highly unprofessional manner. Her awareness as to who is in her facility is highly lacking, and so is the communication in the higher positions of this facility. When there is a threat present, everyone should know, especially the director of the facility. When you are an executive director of a facility where you house and care for those who can no longer care for themselves, you are required to be in tune with your facility and what goes on there. The fact that nobody communicated this problem to her, and the way she handled the situation after she was made aware was not professional and very disheartening. I would not recommend bringing your family here as safety of residents, family members, and staff is non existent. Respect between some of the staff here is seriously lacking. That being said, there is a small handful of INCREDIBLE nurses, and INCREDIBLE caregivers who work here all whom I have met personally.
