Sheffield Hallam University was affected by a data breach a few month ago and I was involved in this unfortunate event. They said only my personal data have been stolen, and a few months (when the breach has happened) I start receiving a crazy number of fake calls, scammers and frauds calls. They assured me that no sensitive data was stolen (but university couldn t supply any evidence) and I was not informed of any steps they are willing to take to rectify this issue or assuring me that they will monitor the data stolen.
This event affected and still affecting me mentally.
