BEWARE: I needed to get a simple COVID test because I was in contact with a person that tested positive and Methodist wants you to schedule through a primary care physician. Ok, I dont have a primary care physician, but I called anyway. The doctor called 30 min after the televisit was supposed to start to tell me that I should get a test. Wow that took a genius. They set up an appt 2 days later and said it would take 2-3 for results. I cancelled the test and found a same day test with results in 24hrs. Now they want to bill me $228 for a visit LOL. How crazy is this? They are trying to bill me for a consult that was never finished because I never recieved a test through them. I didnt need a DR. to tell me I needed a test. This is ridiculous and I will never give this hospital system a dollar. GREED.
