Absolutely beautiful zoo with an abundance of animals and flora. Many of the exhibits allow you to get extremely close to animals that you otherwise wouldn't be able to, such as hippos, gorillas, and lions. The grounds themselves are very well maintained and the plant scenery is as well designed as the exhibits themselves. If you live in San Diego, the annual pass is well worth it.
