While they want you to believe they've reinvented the wheel, Hired is competing in the same job market along with everyone else. If you can't find a job matching your skills, odds are Hired won't have any matches for you either. They want you to believe that they're on YOUR side, acting as an agent instead of a recruiter, but they still get paid by the employers. This "Lending Tree" BS about having employers compete for you SOUNDS nice, especially for those of us battered by a tightening job market, but aside from a little additional 1:1 hand-holding, they're really just another recruiter. They have no secret network of companies just DYING to hire people who can't find tech jobs elsewhere.
