The ETSIT of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) is the Dean School in the field of Telecommunications Engineering in Spain. It is located in the northern part of the University City campus, somewhat away from the University City subway station, but accessible from it by bus. It has several buildings where classrooms, departments, laboratories and other functional areas are distributed. It has a first level technical equipment, and is one of the European references in the teaching field.It usually leads the rankings in Spain in teaching quality and employability (recently a survey of a well-known national newspaper placed it as number 1). also as a research center in other areas such as renewable energy. The library is good, although only accessible to students, and with a lack of natural light. The dining room is not very big.
