This is a hopeless enterprise. After a really bad car accident three years ago I took an ambulance to Bay Shore. When I arrived I was forced to wait hours for a brain scan and then afterwards I was made to wait for another few hours. When I asked for water or Diet Coke, I was refused. Nearly eight hours after arriving the doctors told me I was fine and sent me home. In reality, though, I had severe concussion. My mental state was compromised for weeks. The bill for this fiasco was thousands of dollars. My insurance covered the costs but still, Bayshore sold debt to collection agency that now calls me a few times a week. When I call Bayshore to complain about this they keep me on hold for fifteen minutes. This has to be the worst hospital in the United States. I wouldn't go back to this place, even in an emergency.
