We had called the property about an early check in...

We had called the property about an early check in around 2 pm and they said, no sorry, you need to come for 4 pm. We spent our time accordingly, waiting for 4 pm and once arrived, found out our room was not ready yet (cleaning due to Covid seems a weak excuse as we noticed many other people also were told their rooms were not ready). We were offered drink coupons to use at Play which we did, and told the room would be ready at 5 pm. We waited and waited for the call that never came, We called back the front desk at 5:20 pm and were told, oh YES! your room is now ready - we were annoyed as we should not have to follow-up on this ourselves. Once in our room, it was clean but VERY DARK and although the bathroom looked modern and renovated, once we took a shower the floor by the glass wall was flooded. Not a pleasant start. We were in a hurry to get to our dinner reservations which were in 30 minutes so we cleaned up the water and left. The next day it happened again. Seems the caulking is not done properly. So we were always left with soaking wet towels on the bathroom floor with nowhere to store them. This is not a luxury experience.... We were also told that due to the inconvenience of our room being ready late that we would be given a credit of $30 towards the facility/resort fee. As I do my banking this morning, I see that credit was never applied so I had to call the resort again. This kind of follow-up should not be necessary. It leaves a poor taste in our mouth and I don't think we will return to this property again...
