I brought in Jax, my name for stray cat in my yard on 10/26/18 gasping for air. He needed oxygen. They told me there was some kind of trauma ( hit by car or kicked or fell off a roof or something ) basically his intensities and lower half was up into his chest and pushing on his lungs. Was 50/50 chance he would make it and very expensive and long involved surgery. I decided to risk a close to $7G surgery to help the little fella. At the end of the day I was called by Dr Matthew Morgan. He told me the surgery was successful and he still is in serious condition. 4 days later I took him home. Recuperating now for a few weeks and my home. I can t say enough about the surgeons and staff at Long Island veterinary specialists. They treat each and every animal as if it was their own. Life is precious. It will take me months to pay this off but if she recuperates It s worth every penny.
