I'm giving this review of "teligence", as a mere heads-up, to any potential male callers to any of their telephone chat/dateline services. They, apparently, operate several different lines such as...livelinks, tango personals, vibeline, blacksinglez, redhot, etc. I called the blacksinglez telephone chat line last night, and was offered a FREE THIRTY-MINUTE trial for the line. About twelve-minutes in to the trial, a pre-recorded message interrupted my call. The message was a male voice, stating my number had been blocked from the system, due to my being a male caller on the female side of the line. I was like....HUH?!?!

This was/is completely UNTRUE!!! I was on the male side of the line, messaging women. I immediately contacted their "customer service" number, to inquire about this matter. I spoke with a woman by the name of "sandra", and asked why I had received the message stating my number had been blocked. At first, "sandra" seemed willing to assist with my concern, she seemed polite and helpful. She put me on hold for a few minutes, then explained what had happened. "sandra", said..."Your number was blocked, because you tried to access the female side of the line, as a male caller." I told her, this WAS NOT THE CASE, and she began getting rather loud/rude. I was then told by "sandra"...."The ONLY way we can unblock your number, is for you to make a purchase to access the system." I began asking why/how this could possibly be the case, and "sandra" got EXTREMELY loud with me at this point. She said..."I've now answered all your questions", and hung-up on me!

"sandra" has a very thick foreign accent, it was quite difficult to even understand everything she was saying. So, from what I can tell, this COMPANY attempts to FORCE the male callers into PURCHASING talk time with their credit cards, by BLOCKING their numbers for NO GOOD REASON at all! As if this isn't bad enough, apparently, once they BLOCK your number on one line, your number is BLOCKED on their other lines, too. If this isn't clearly a SCAM, I don't know what is! They BLOCK your number for NO GOOD REASON, then want YOU to PAY, by giving your credit card number out to a bunch of VERY RUDE/UNPROFESSIONAL/UNFRIENDLY/OBNOXIOUS/STRANGE, foreign customer service reps?!? NEVER!!!! Stay FAR FAR FAR away from these CROOKS!!!
