A place of culture. The festival is always part of a trip to the traditional city of Salzburg. The impressive building reflects how important the festival itself was and still is for Salzburg. There are tours that can be booked on site to view the building not only from the outside but also from the inside. But be careful it is really very spacious and the winding corridors invite you to get lost.
