TERRIBLE. ZERO STARS IF I COULD.

TERRIBLE. ZERO STARS IF I COULD.
We went here for our anniversary dinner.
I've been procrastinating for a long time now on writing all my reviews but my experience at Manresa alone, fueled me up to be active again.

I've been to 4 three Michelin-starred restaurants including Manresa and many 2-1 star here in The Bay Area and New York. Manresa has been by far the most disappointing if actually the only disappointing one. If you are deciding between Manresa, Benu or Saison I suggest going with the other two: benu has 15 delicious memorable courses while Saison masters the art of every single dish and the order in which you taste it.

The food at Manresa was subpar, mediocre even... not one bit memorable, most dishes too salty and the super pricey truffle we added on did not save the dinner! Believe me I wanted to lie to myself and believe that it was a great dinner/experience considering the hefty 1,200 tab we paid.

Our server was annoying and did not provide professional guest service as the usual (fantastic) fine dining servers do, in my experience. He kept commenting on how we kept him busy with the "crumber" ummmmm excuse me??? Tell me what do servers at Manresa do exactly. Because not only was it NOT his job to serve us our wine, refill our drinks or serve and present the food ALL he had to do was crumb the table and he even complained about that jeez I wish I remembered his name. Aside from the food presenter, the entire staff seemed asleep, aloof and dead inside.
