Checked into the motel for work; only a couple sheets of toilet paper left, squashed bugs left on the floor. It had not been cleaned before my visit. I heard my family neighbor s every word through the cracks in the internal door separating rooms.

Despite all this, I was okay, just heading to bed. I thought I felt something touch my leg and shrugged it off.. then I felt something touch my arm. I flicked at it and heard a sound as it hit the floor. I turn the light on and see a dismembered cockroach leg on the bed, STILL MOVING on it s own. The cockroach I had got to the floor was out of sight.

I noped right out of there to the hotel reception. Given that incident, the staff member was understanding and gave me a hotel room which had no problems. Definitely please consider the state of the motel before booking on a budget! The hotel part was fine, nice staff and more sanitary-seeming.
