Having lived in San Jose all my life, Great America has lost its luster over the years, the facade of grandness and freshness they try to appeal to the masses with a new coaster here and there is clouded from the greed of expensive price gouging at every corner. All the typical rips like expensive entrance fees, parking fees, fastpass fees, $4 waters, etc are added to by services like Photo passes, Food passes, cabana fees, etc. speaking of cabanas, they want so much money to rent a shade in a pool area thats surrounded by cheap dirty concrete and dirty shades, i mean at least take a water hose and rinse off all the black dust, dirt and debris from your shades and covers in the morning. most everything looks as dirty and old as the park is. Lines for rides are staggering seemingly like the operators are told to move at a snails pace to encourage sales of FastPass tickets, and you get to sit there and watch as you wait several turns to ride because those privileged with Fastpasses get ahead of you over and over and over.
