Hotel itself is lovely the entrance lobby is very majestic and open. Staff were helpful and friendly albeit at times it seemed a little false. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Bathroom was tidy and neat too. Loved the complimentary products they smell heavenly!! Facilities at the hotel were good. Found the price of the food at the hotel restaurant rather expensive and due to its proximity to LAX not much else to choose from close to the hotel. We found a Thai restaurant a little way down the road whose Pad Thai was amazing and the portion HUGE enough for 2 adults. Location of hotel is really close to LAX but in a quite industrial sort of area so not quite suited for going for walks to explore LA. The complimentary shuttle worked although the driver of our shuttle was a little abrupt with us considering we'd been flying for 11.30Hours and had been awake for over 28hours straight feeling severely jet lagged but we got dropped off right outside the lobby. Would recommend The Westin. Also Starline coaches have a bus stop right near the hotel for the hop on hop off bus tours of LA. Highly recommend these.
