Visited here for an extremely mundane strep throat...

Visited here for an extremely mundane strep throat test. Doctor suggested that I also have a mono test performed, and I agreed.

A few weeks later, I was billed nearly THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS. For a strep test!!! After arguing with the billing center ("these are accurate charges that are agreed upon with insurers" etc), basically I have no recourse but to pay an obscene amount for what should have been an at most $300 or $400 test.

Do NOT go to Stanford health center. Stay away!!
