The Tarakanita College of Communication and Secretary (STIKS Tarakanita) was previously named the Secretariat Academy / LPK Tarakanita (Aksek / LPK Tarakanita). Founded on January 10, 1968 by Congregational Sisters Carolus Borromeus (Sister CB) with the founders of STIKS supported by lecturers, employees, students and stakeholders in organizing quality tertiary education in Indonesia.

STIKS Tarakanita organizes Diploma Three Secretarial and Bachelor of Communication Studies courses. Has 2 campuses with complete library and laboratory facilities in the Billy & Moon Complex, Pondok Kelapa, East Jakarta and Thamrin City, 6th floor, Central Jakarta.
