The attorney from this firm has emailed me saying that he is done communicating with me: RUN RUN RUN don't engage this firm.

The team from Udall & Shumway that recently represented me in a trial made errors from the beginning of my case, stating that if I prevailed in my court case that the plaintiff suing me would have to pay my lawyer fees.

Halfway through the process, I was informed that they were wrong and that in this type of case it would not be possible for the plaintiff to cover my lawyer fees.

This team will still not admit they were wrong when I asked them to reduce my fees! I was informed that I could take it to the State Bar and OF COURSE I would have to pay their fees if I lose.

I feel mislead, lied to, and disappointed in myself for believing that this lawyer and this firm would help me. Its a real shame that the very good name of Udall & Shumway is associated with these types of tactics.

I learned alot from this attorney, though. Here are the reasons that I would NEVER recommend this firm.

1. Bait & switch tactics with clients to get higher billable hours, then act like all along your client was fully informed.

2. Scream and yell and hang up during a settlement agreement will surely end up with more billable hours because if you can't settle, you got to show up at your court date, right? Lots more billable hours.

3. Shush your client when they want to talk to the Judge to ask him about the fees being paid by the losing party. Literally shush them. And then say, well, you won the case, right?

4. Ignore the very logical and reasonable request to get the fees reduced due to your incompetence and ill given advice.
