The noise on the weekend was so bad I struggled to sleep. Apparently a wedding party had taken over one of the rooms below me as a sort of dressing area, but the talking and cavorting was non-stop.

The wireless is deplorable, and the phones in many of the rooms apparently don t work at all. The phone in my room is completely inoperable and the young lady in reception admitted that most the phones aren t actually connected to anything.

Also, getting simple things like a bottle of water or a Coke seemed to be nearly impossible unless you go down to the bar and stand in the way of one of the waitresses so that they have no choice but to serve you.

I come to Inverness frequently and this is the fourth hotel I have tried (i like some variety) and it is by far the worst one in terms of service.
