Vacation right after the corona pandemic

Vacation right after the corona pandemic
At first we were warmly welcomed by the lady at the reception and felt immediately welcome.
The hotel is set up like a kind of Greek village. In the middle is the large hotel pool (salty water), all around are small houses with the rooms.
Our hotel room was very neat, the shower was a bit small, but sufficient. Each room has a balcony or terrace. We were lucky enough to be able to look diagonally to the sea and straight to the pool from the balcony. On the balcony you had the opportunity to hang towels.
The second hotel pool (fresh water) is towards the beach. There is a bar at each of the two pools. The beach bar is open from 10 am to 6 pm (all inclusive). The pool bar from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. with all inclusive and then against payment. The bartender at the pool bar was very polite and mixed the best cocktails we've had in a long time!
The hotel has a small beach bay that disappoints at first glance. However, this bay with sand and little gravel turned out to be a real stroke of luck. While snorkeling you can observe a lot of and colorful fish and find one or the other mussel. The large beach next door becomes too stony to the water and you need bathing shoes.

The biggest problem on this holiday was the non-existent buffet, due to the Corona crisis. The staff went out of their way to meet the needs of the guests. However, too few staff were employed to serve all guests promptly. We sometimes waited 20 minutes to order our drinks. The menu offered a daily choice of soup, 2 salads, 6 starters, 3 main courses and 2 desserts. It tasted average good. We missed the Greek traditional on the menu.
However, the staff is not to be blamed, they were always hard-working and friendly, even if there were small communication problems.

The hotel complex was very well-kept and you could admire all kinds of plants.

All in all it was a very nice vacation where you could relax very well.
