Absolutely beautiful property here. I actually went to the wrong location at first but from a glance the Westhampton course has a beautiful practice area and the pool. Also a nice gentleman pointed me in the right direction. Thankfully I made my tee time after another 10 minute drive.

Played the Tuckahoe Creek course and it was beautiful. Heard it had a facelift recently. I usually use a spot or an imperfection in the grass ahead of my ball to line up and I had a little trouble doing that here. Absolutely perfect conditions. The course is relatively open off the tee but the approach shots can be tricky with certain pin locations. Relatively flat so if I ever get invited to play it again I will try and walk.

Driving range, putting green, and chipping green/bunker area are also top notch. I could spend a long time practicing here without getting bored. The only thing I'll say is the putting green and Tuckahoe Creek greens are different. I could be wrong but the practice green was bent grass and super fast, but the course greens seemed like Bermuda and slower. I had trouble adjusting. Having a very affordable snack shop right in the middle of the practice area is perfect as well. Pro shop is well stocked and the staff was very nice. Only issues were I wish they gave more help to the guy running the tournament, especially afterwards. Usually a pro or two help out but no one seemed to stick around. One guy was trying to help with pace of play but I didn't see many others doing the same. Needless to say a 5.5 hour round is ridiculous.

I hear the James River Course is even better. They play a PGA Champions Tour event there and have heard nothing but good things. I would love to get an invite there but won't hold my breath. Can't wait to come back here!
