Unfortunately I can't give -5 stars, but Volkswage...

Unfortunately I can't give -5 stars, but Volkswagen doesn't deserve better! Why? I brought my Volkswagen Up! with 60,000 km on the clock for an MOT inspection and maintenance at A-point in Amsterdam. After an hour I am called by the service employee with the comment that the brake discs and pads are totally worn out. Strange, because then A-point did not really do its job well at the previous service. After some discussion, it suddenly turns out not to be that serious and the car will pass the inspection. But now the facts: on the standard costs of eur. 371.00 for the turn comes eur. 500.00 extra (!) For the discs and blocks (and 'yes, Mr Koenders, you pay that at any VW dealer .....') Just search the internet and it turns out: a complete brake set from the renowned Bosch brand costs eur 75.00. In addition to eur 60.00 assembly costs (half an hour), the rest is therefore a pure profit for A-point and VW. Does the unsuspecting consumer have to pay for the millions of fines in this way because of the diesel scandal?
This is just outrageous! Without any embarrassment on his jaws, the service desk employee also says that the hourly wage at each VW garage is eur 133.00. In short: dear owner of a Volkswagen, if you want to prevent a personal bankruptcy, leave the maintenance to another garage very quickly!

And for the marketing department of A-point: stop giving continuous answers to a negative review. Don't try to 'sweep everything under the carpet' and 'settle it amicably'. A clear answer to this review forum also shows other customers what A-point and Volkswagen stand for. Now every subsequent customer just becomes a victim of whatever happened to me.

A day later the 'marketing manager' calls. "Unfortunately, these are the prices of the head office" He should not have called. Volkswagen is lost and for me a thing of the past.
