I took the bike to check that the battery was drained after 15 days of non-use. From the checks carried out, the problem was an anti-theft control unit installed by the previous owner. So far, so good. The thing that I absolutely did not like was the unnecessary strong acceleration with a cold engine by the mechanic when returning my bike; I am surprised that an insider treats engines like this, showing ignorance and disrespect for other people's things. We are well aware that the oil, as well as the mechanical parts, must reach the right operating temperature.
-------------------------------------------------- ----------------
The engine revolutions, from the sound emitted by the exhausts, were in my opinion no less than 6500/7000 considering that I was inside the shed with the overhead door closed about 70 meters away from where she was with my bike; also my friend was present a few meters away. I would add that the water temperature on the display, after showing the payment receipt and withdrawing the booklet (the engine was therefore inactive for 2 minutes after accelerating), was just one notch and, as you claim, the engine it was hot, he should have indicated three, by virtue of his solicitations; one notch is the minimum that allows, as indicated by the parent company, to start running at moderate speeds; a different matter for the oil temperature, without a dedicated indicator, which usually heats longer than that of water but essential to reduce the friction between mechanical parts, leaving the latter the time necessary for the natural minimum extension. The bike, I repeat, I took it to assistance for a problem related to an anomalous current absorption of the battery and its action on the throttle did not make any sense.
