Unfortunately they are a third party investing through Ameritrade and have not trained their representatives very well, including the supervisors. They took my funds quite easily but it took lots of paperwork and 4 weeks to just have them roll the funds over to another institution. After they were finally transferred they did not send a statement of which funds were pre-tax and which ones were after-tax contributions. I spoke with 4 different AG Financial representatives including a supervisor and 3 out of 4 said that a statement would be sent to my other financial institution. Nope.

A few years ago I wanted to open a Roth account and call them to do this. The representative with AG Financial discouraged it highly and tried to tell me about all the tax issues that I would have. I had already researched Roth IRA accounts and told him that I did not think he knew what he was talking about. I went down to my local Credit Union and opened one and received all kinds of tax breaks for 2 years in a row.

If I were to do this again I would have begun investing through Vanguard or Fidelity. I would have had the same benefit with some experienced people managing my retirement.
