This camp has been part of my life for 15 years now. I grew up attending Camp Wapomeo, enjoying the large range of activities offered and taking advantage of the canoe tripping program starting at 12 years old. Attending Camp Wapomeo as a camper shaped me into the person I am today. I attribute my independence, leadership skills and ability to face any challenge to my time at Wapomeo and cannot imagine spending my summers anywhere else. I'd have to say that my favourite aspect of the camp is the long canoe trip program, which ranges from 22-50 days throughout Ontario and Quebec.

If you are looking for a camp that is back to basics in it's approach, rich with history and prides itself in it's sense of community, then this the camp for you.
