I like this place. It's a really old hotel right on the beach. It's seriously across the street from the nantasket beach. The rooms have had fireplaces which we didn't get to use as we were here over the labor day weekend. We did get to experience am NE lightning storm. Super cool for those of us from the West coast.

From the start, the lobby is clean and nice. A staff member is always on hand to help and the valet is ready to party your car. The rooms have plenty of space and well equipped. I was happily surprised when the shower has very strong water pressure. The bed, while not your standard Marriott, was comfortable and I didn't really have any issues sleeping. Everything is definitely dated and some of the finishes are suffering from use. The restaurant is decent but the other offerings nearby are way better.

I'll be back. It's a great place to stay especially if you want a great beach with good food options nearby.
