THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.
I was advised by a friend to see McDonald Murholme as he had heard their ongoing ad on 3AW, having helped people with Employment Law problems in particular, Bullying in the workplace.
I went to see them to seek their help for a employer bullying claim, when one of the senior Lawyers actually bullied and insulted me himself by insinuating I have a mental problem due to me questioning of his claims of their outstanding success in these past matters in similar cases.
They gave me a false sense of hope to draw me in and then they lied that this did not take place. When things got too hard for them their advice to me was to take whatever my employer was offering, 4 weeks pay as an exit, not even enough to cover their costs, their attitude was take what you can get.
Their communication was non existent after things were too hard for them, I resorted to communicate to the Lawyers handling my case through different office staff as they did not supply me with a direct contact. I told them I was not happy and I had engaged another Law firm to help me, they got nasty and they actually told the opposing Lawyer representing my employer private and confidential information about myself, and tried to ruin my credibility by saying I had taken off with the work vehicle and corporate credit card as well as other items of value.
They were reckless and had no consideration for my privacy. You'd think they should know better, being Lawyers.
They had initially charged me over $4000 and and then slam me with another bill for over $4000 and asked this bill to be paid that day which i did so, with no results. Over 8 thousand dollars!! FOR WHAT? Pathetic.
I had asked them about their no fee no win policy that IS advertised but their response was they do not advertise this. NOT TRUE.
They take advantage of the vulnerable and they look at clients as dollar signs.
I would never go back to see them even if they are the last Law Firm on the face of the earth, dealing with this firm actually made me feel sick.
Enjoy my $$$ seeings money is so important to you. I honestly don't know how you sleep at night.
