This is my second summer volunteering for WRC. I returned this year because I fell in love with the people and the birds (I work in the avian nursery). I love, love, love it here. WRC is one of my favorite places in the world. The staff, interns, and volunteers are incredibly compassionate, kind, and helpful, especially to the animals. Despite the busy environment, a lot of peace is found in this beautiful place. Each moment within its walls is a gift. I'm hooked for life.
