Overall we were pleased with our Mosby experience....

Overall we were pleased with our Mosby experience. From the initial consultation, to the meeting with the designer, to the actual demolition and construction time with the lead remodeler and his team, everyone with whom we worked was pleasant, professional, and clearly very good at what they do. And we're delighted with our new master bathroom - from the flooring, to the wall color, to the enlarged shower, to the raised vanities and new Onyx and cabinets -- all looks just like we'd hoped, and is a significant upgrade. So why not five stars? Now about one month after the renovation, we have a nagging feeling that an important opportunity was missed at the end of our Mosby engagement. We have one window-seat cabinet door that doesn't close fully like the other two cabinet doors do. Our remodeler explained that this was a design issue, and can't be fixed. Our above-the-toilet cabinet is unfinished underneath. Should it be finished underneath? We're not sure if the designer intended for it to be. That cabinet's door handles slam into the walls on either side of the cabinet, so we've stuck our own clear plastic bumpers on the wall to protect them. Did the designer intend for the door handles to be able to hit the walls? Not sure. We have drain holes inside the shower where our shower glass meets the shower's back wall - about four feet up. Should there be drain holes there? Our remodeler wasn't sure, and said he'd never seen drain holes installed like that by Mosby's subcontractor glass company before. For the underside of the cabinet and the shower glass drain holes, our remodeler took photos, but that seems to have been the end of it. Ideally, it feels like a good final step in the remodeling process, especially at this price point, would include a visit from the designer to ensure that the end product was the same as her vision -- so I'm offering that suggestion here. Again, we're happy with all the hard work and effort that went into our new bathroom, and we're pleased with the results. Would have loved to have come to resolution on these last admittedly small bits of concern.
