I will never go back to this hospital. In the past the care there was wonderful, and now over the years it has just gone down the tubes. I was there for a simple Covid test. And it took over an hour before someone saw me. When I had my port put in they just left me lying in a hospital bed in the waiting area for almost two hours without any explanation. The doctor I was seeing I explained to him that my port was being placed in my arm as per my surgeon order because I have tissue expanders placed in my chest after my mastectomy was done.And he just gave me a big attitude and said my surgeon was wrong, he does this all the time. But I am the patient so sorry dude I advocate for myself. Then the breaker was last night. I was told by my oncologist to go to the ER for an emergent ct. I was there for 9 hours with no of seeing a doctor or even having a ct any time soon. My doctor even told them ahead of time that I was coming. I watched a woman throwing up in pain, people with broken bones, an girl came in with a bleeding head wound people with super high blood pressure thinking they were having heart attacks just told to take a seat. My blood pressure was taken and it came back super high as well but I was told again to just take a seat and someone will be with you soon. I I have never been treated so poorly as zi have been the last few months at this hospital. My fault for not going to Silver Cross like I should have.lesson learned on my part
