I didn t like having to be admitted into the mental ward, but it wasn t as bad as it could ve been. They don t overfill the ward (I was on the bottom floor, not top. I guess the top one is worse) but the staff was very caring and extremely friendly. The social workers like to take their time discharging you but it gets done before 4pm when you are told you re getting discharged. You can t keep your door closed in your room, but it s understandable. Just sucks since the hall light shines into your room all night and makes it hard to sleep. Not many things to keep you busy other than talk to other patients, color/watch tv and go to groups.
