About two days ago Isaac and I noticed that our cat, JellyBeans did a 180 in his behavior and movement. Worried, I looked up WestVet from google search and rushed him straight over to the Animal Emergency.

They didn't do a wonderful job, they did an OUTSTANDING job taking care of our JellyBeans. He was in rough shape. They found that he has the Cats & Urinary Tract Infection, and his kidney readings was off the charts. So they kept him for a few days to try to get his bladder unblocked, which they was able to right away, and bring down his kidney readings.

Pros:
1. Being a pet owner for a very long time, I can honestly say that I have never seen anyone take better care of animals in need like WestVet. They are patience with the pets as well as the owners.

2. Every few hours updates call. They will call and give you updates every other hour, and is open to you calling them for a check up even if it's in the middle of the night. ( Which yes, I have called them in the middle of the night for a check up. Because well.. He is my JellyBeans and not having him in the home makes the home seem empty.) When the vet doc calls, he gives you a full break down of everything that is going on, in details and is willing to answer any questions or concerns that you may have. Even give you tips on how to help your pet get better.

3. They don't do anything that is not needed. The test and lab work that they did for JellyBeans was what you would expect them to do. They didn't do anything that wasn't needed to (most likely) saved his life.

4. If the cost is too high, they give you work arounds like transferring him to your normal vet, if your vet does overnight care. They don't go here, pay this. They will ask if this is okay, or do we have any issues with the payment.

Cons:
1. Normally, I would have a list of cons however over all I am very happy and content with their outstanding service. The only thing I would say, don't let the over night cost scare you. It is a bit... high however, I am very certain that no one in the Boise Valley is as good as WestVet. If your animal doesn't need to stay overnight then the cost itself isn't bad at all. They will give you a price quote on how much everything would be, in case you wanted to check ahead of time.

If it wasn't for the fact that this is an Animal Emergency Center, I would make them his perm vet to go see. Maybe if this place ever gets a Animal Care Center for normal visits then I would be switching him over to see them! Thank you again for saving our lil JellyBeans
