The cloister is simply unmissable, like the exhibitions it often hosts. These days there were works by Lucian Freud, Bacon, Paula Rego and the London school. The exhibition displays few but very representative works of the authors and above all very famous and beautiful. Paula Rego represented the unexpected discovery of a determined and feminist Portuguese artist, who at just 15 years of age went to London to perfect her pictorial qualities with the masters.
