Got this load late from xpo logistics..get here wo...

Got this load late from xpo logistics..get here woman in shipping office explains that appointment was for 0830. We booked this load at 1000. Oh not to mention roads are closed because of weather. Well I get here around 1130. She tells me she will call when a door is available, get that call around 1215. After sitting for 4 1/2 hours in the dock I walk up front to see what s going on. She explains to me that I m in the penalty box because I was late. I explain to here again when we booked the load. Then she tells me next time I ll just leave you in the yard... I walk out because clearly this is going nowhere. The broker was trying to reach them on the phone but they don t answer. So he asks me to walk up and get a number so that he could speak to them. I get to the window and after being starred at for 10 min. Another woman asks me if she could help me. I told her the broker would like to talk to them. She get in the radio and says this guys probably not going to take this load now since you guys made him wait this long. So clearly this is a power trip by their shipping employees. I explain to the woman you do realize we work on a dot clock and you ve basically killed my 14 hour clock. Her response was so I don t care if it gets delivered...wow who has employees like this working for them! To all other drivers I would stay for away...hard to make money with people playing games. Not to mention it makes the situation worse on the other end as well. With the drive caught in the middle.
